Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics

The Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics is an international research institute with approx. 400 employees, working in the field of molecular genetics. A special focus lies on functional genomics of man and other organisms.

The Department of Computational Molecular Biology works on exploiting whole-genome sequencing and functional genomics data for the purpose of gaining a better understanding of transcriptional regulation in eukaryotes.

Within the DEEP consortium our group will analyse the data generated by the consortium, with the goal to understand the impact of epigenomic changes in the diseases studied by DEEP.
