The multinational pharmaceutical company Sanofi is engaged in the research, development, manufacturing and marketing of therapeutics with a focus on diabetes, cardiovascular, central nervous system, oncology, thrombosis and vaccines.

The Diabetes Division of Sanofi, which is based in Frankfurt, is the industrial partner of the DEEP consortium and is supporting in particular the projects in the area of metabolic research.
